The aim of our club is to offer our junior members a safe environment where they can enjoy the benefits of friendship whilst developing their fitness, and gaining a greater understanding of the awesome game of rugby.

We love promoting a sense of fun, friendship, a strong sense of teamwork and self-worth.

There will be bumps and challenges along the way but it’ll always be a fun ride that strengthens the child with confidence and comradery.

  • Friday Juniors.

U6s to U12s play on Friday evenings under lights, always at our home ground of Stuart Park. The gradual introduction to rugby is in step with the size and age of these teams. Smaller fields, shorter games, limited tackling (optional in U8s) and a big emphasis on fun. This is where the future superstars of our club begin and it’s a great way to kick off a weekend.

  • Saturday Juniors.

These are the U14 to U18 teams, girls and boys, where the individual skill level and comradery increases exponentially. Winning games is always the goal but it is purely one of many others of equal importance. Confidence, effort, strength, fortitude and sportsmanship are always high on the agenda. Being involved in teams of these age groups is rewarding on so many levels.

  • All Abilities.

For a lot of different reasons, some people in our community are or can feel, excluded from being able to participate in sports, especially a contact sport. All Abilities is a modified kids rugby program that aims to provide a platform for Primary School or Junior High School aged children that require a tailored approach to improve their rugby skills while making friends and being connected to the Rugby Community and their peers.

If you have kids or have friends with kids that could benefit and find enjoyment through this program please contact Lisa to discuss how to best create an environment for your child to participate and get involved.
